Not Ability to learn is a new disease of the XXI century. On the treatment of dyslexia, dysgraphy and dyspraxia.
In the centre of neuropsychology, many of the children that were brought here by parents, revealed dysgraphia — a pathological inability to write correctly that in Russia medical diagnosis is not. As a rule, by the time children get into an institution where they are engaged in such problems, they already have conflicts with teachers.
Russian teachers blame parents for not taking care of their children, and parents blame schools for the lack of qualified teachers and normal educational programs. However, around the world talk about a new epidemic of the XXI century: learning disabilities — not ability to learn.
Experts who study the problem say that these features of development, which in the West are determined by specific diagnostics, can not be cured, but can be corrected by various techniques. And most importantly, these children should be caught in a completely different way. But no education system is yet ready for such a turn.
Brain activity is associated with all mental processes of the person, and first of all — with attention, memory, thinking and will. The emergence of a large number of children with similar special needs provoked by a variety of factors. In addition to genetics, the total number of such children is influenced by the environment, first of all, and poor ecology.
The third reason is social, and it is connected with emancipation. In the second half of the twentieth century, a working mother has become commonplace, and it was recorded by neuropsychologists around the world: in different countries, a large number of so-called deprivation of the mother and children. This means that because the child is not accompanied by a mother at an early age, he or she does not develop certain functions, including those related to a sense of stability, well-being and confidence in the security of the world.
